The "Gratitude Ceremony and Public Reception Ceremony", organised by the Shri Pimpleshwar Mahadev Bhakta Mandal, is scheduled from 5 pm to 10 pm and is expected to attract a large gathering of devotees, VIP guests and dignitaries, including Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
To ensure smooth traffic movement and maintain public safety, the Traffic Department has implemented special traffic regulations for 24 hours on Monday. The notification has been issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Pankaj Shirsat, under Sections 115 and 116(1)(a)(b) of the Motor Vehicles Act.

Roads Closed to Traffic
- All vehicles heading towards Sagaon via Manpada Road from in front of Pimpaleshwar Point Hotel will not be allowed to enter the service road at Pimpaleshwar Chowk.
- Vehicles traveling from Manpada Road (Dombivli East) towards Shilphata Road via Pimpaleshwar Chowk will not be allowed to proceed beyond the peepal tree near Govind Centre.
- Vehicles coming from the temple side towards Manpada Road via the MIDC road behind Pimpaleshwar Mahadev Temple will not be allowed to proceed beyond Om Sai Darshan Marble Trading Company.
- Vehicles traveling to and from Pimpaleshwar Chowk will not be allowed to enter via Sonarpada Service Chowk and Manpada Chowk service roads.
Alternative Routes
- Vehicles heading towards Shilphata Road should use the Manpada Chowk – Sai Baba Sagaon route.
- Vehicles coming from the MIDC area should travel via Manpada Road – Sonarpada – Shilphata Road.
- Vehicles from the Sonarpada area should use the Kalyan–Shilphata Road – Sai Baba Sagaon – Manpada Road route.
The restrictions will not apply to emergency and essential service vehicles, including:
- Police vehicles
- Fire brigade vehicles
- Ambulances
- Oxygen supply vehicles
- Green corridor vehicles
- Other essential service transport
Traffic police have appealed to citizens to cooperate with the temporary arrangements, follow diversion signs, and use the designated alternate routes to avoid inconvenience during the event.
Authorities expect heavy traffic movement and large crowds around the temple premises throughout the programme and have urged commuters to plan their travel accordingly.
